The agreement
These terms are an agreement between you and PEPLUX. By using this website, beginning an intake, or placing an order, you accept them. If you do not accept them, do not use the service.
Three other documents form part of this agreement and should be read alongside it: the privacy policy, which explains how information is handled; the informed consent to telehealth, which you accept before a provider reviews your intake; and the refund policy.
The intake, patient account and checkout will run on a separate intake service operated for PEPLUX by a telehealth technology provider. That service shows its own terms and consent screens before you begin. Before the intake goes live, these documents and those screens will be aligned so that they say the same thing. If you ever find a conflict between them, tell us.
Eligibility
To use PEPLUX you must:
- Be at least 18 years old.
- Be physically located in the United States at the time of your consultation and at the time of delivery. PEPLUX does not treat patients outside the US and does not ship internationally.
- Be located in a state where a provider affiliated with PEPLUX holds an active license. Telehealth is regulated at the state level, and a provider may only treat you in a state where they are licensed.
- Be requesting treatment for yourself. You may not complete an intake on someone else’s behalf or share a prescription.
- Have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement.
Providers in the Arora Health network hold licenses covering every US state. Puerto Rico is not covered, and licensure in the District of Columbia is not confirmed. That is where a provider may practice. It is not the same as where a product can be prescribed and shipped: product availability by state is not yet confirmed, and the intake will check it for your state before anything is prescribed. See states.
We may decline to provide the service to anyone, and may close an account where these eligibility requirements are not met.
What PEPLUX is
PEPLUX is a telehealth platform, not a pharmacy or drug manufacturer. Medications are compounded and dispensed by independently licensed US compounding pharmacies.
PEPLUX provides the website, the technology and the administrative services that connect you with independently licensed providers and independently licensed pharmacies. PEPLUX does not practice medicine, does not compound or manufacture medication, and does not direct a provider’s clinical judgment.
Clinical care is provided by licensed providers in the Arora Health network. Arora Health is an affiliated clinical organization. It is a separate organization from PEPLUX, and it is not PEPLUX’s parent company or subsidiary.
This information is educational and is not medical advice. It does not establish a provider–patient relationship.
The educational content we publish, including the FDA status tracker, is provided in good faith and sourced from FDA primary documents, with the source and the date it was checked shown on each entry. Regulatory status can change, sometimes quickly. We update an entry when it does, but we do not warrant that every entry reflects the position at the moment you read it.
FDA status of what we list
A listing on PEPLUX is not an FDA approval, not a finding that the product may lawfully be compounded, and not a statement that it is safe for you. Compounded medications are not approved by the FDA and have not been reviewed for safety, effectiveness, or quality.
Some products listed on PEPLUX are not FDA-approved and have no lawful pathway for a US pharmacy to compound them today, and their safety and effectiveness in people have not been established. Every product page shows that product’s FDA status next to the button that starts an intake, including when that is the case, and the status tracker covers every peptide we write about. Read the status for a product before you ask for it.
Because the regulatory position can change, a product may stop being available at short notice: for example after an FDA action, a state action, or a pharmacy decision. See dispensing and delivery.
When a provider-patient relationship begins
No provider-patient relationship exists between you and any provider until a licensed provider has reviewed your information and accepted you into care. Using this website does not create one. Creating an account does not create one. Completing an intake does not create one, and paying does not create one.
A provider may review your intake and decide that treatment is not appropriate for you, that more information or testing is needed, that an in-person assessment is required, or that a different approach should be considered. Any of those is a legitimate outcome of a consultation.
If a relationship is established, it exists between you and that provider or their professional entity, not between you and PEPLUX.
Consultation and prescribing
Prescription products require an online evaluation with a licensed provider. Not all patients qualify. A prescription is issued only where a provider decides, in their independent judgment, that treatment is appropriate for you.
PEPLUX does not set prescribing quotas or targets, and does not overrule a provider’s clinical decision.
A provider may require laboratory testing before prescribing, or monitoring before a refill. Whether testing is included in a price or billed separately will be stated before you pay; see prices and billing.
The FDA does not review or approve any compounded medications for safety or effectiveness. Off-label use must be prescribed and supervised by a licensed provider. No one, including PEPLUX and any provider, represents that a treatment will produce a particular result.
Dispensing and delivery
Prescriptions are filled by an independently licensed US compounding pharmacy or outsourcing facility, which is named on each product page before the intake for that product goes live. The pharmacy performs its own review and may contact you or the prescribing provider before dispensing.
Medication is shipped to the US address you provide. You are responsible for the accuracy of that address and for storing the medication as the label directs; some preparations need refrigeration and are affected by heat.
Delivery timing depends on the pharmacy, the carrier, and whether testing or clarification is outstanding. Any delivery estimate you are given is an estimate.
Supply of any product can stop if FDA or a state changes the regulatory position of the underlying substance, or if a pharmacy stops preparing it. If that happens to a product you take, we will tell you promptly and stop billing you for that product. What happens to an amount already paid is set out in the refund policy.
Prices and billing
Published prices and included services are listed on the pricing page; these terms do not set them. The pricing page shows each product’s price only once it has been verified.
What you will see before you pay
Before you are asked to pay anything, the checkout will state, for each product:
- the price, and the billing interval it applies to;
- whether there is a visit or consultation fee, when it is charged, and whether it is refunded if no prescription is issued;
- what the price includes, such as medication, laboratory testing and shipping, and what costs extra;
- whether the order renews automatically, how often, and for how much;
- any minimum commitment;
- how to cancel; and
- the refund terms that apply to the order.
Those terms, as shown at checkout and confirmed to you in writing, govern the order.
Recurring billing
PEPLUX will not enroll you in recurring billing without first stating clearly that the charge recurs, how often and for how much, and getting your express agreement. A receipt will be issued for every charge.
Taxes and failed payments
Applicable sales tax is added where the law requires it. If a payment fails, the order may be paused until it is resolved, which may interrupt treatment.
Cancellation and refunds
How to cancel will be shown at checkout, before you agree to any recurring charge. Cancelling stops future charges; it does not by itself refund a charge already made.
PEPLUX has not yet set its refund terms. The refund policy explains what they will cover and the commitment that they are shown to you before you pay.
We may suspend or close your account if you breach these terms, if continued treatment would be clinically inappropriate, or if we can no longer provide the service.
Your obligations
- Give complete and accurate information during intake and whenever your health changes. A provider can only assess what you tell them, and an incomplete history is a common cause of avoidable harm in telehealth.
- Tell your care team about new medications, new diagnoses, pregnancy, or any adverse reaction.
- Use any medication only as directed by the provider who prescribed it, and never share it.
- Keep your account credentials confidential and tell us if you think someone else has access.
- Keep a relationship with a primary care provider. Telehealth for a specific therapy is not a substitute for general medical care.
Acceptable use
You may not:
- Impersonate another person, create an account for someone else, or give false information in order to obtain a prescription.
- Resell, redistribute, or transfer any medication obtained through PEPLUX.
- Scrape or crawl at a rate that degrades the service, decompile or disassemble it, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of it.
- Upload malicious code, or use the service to harass staff, providers, or other patients.
- Use the service for any unlawful purpose, or in a way that would cause us or the organizations we work with to breach a law or a professional obligation.
You may quote and cite our published regulatory content, including in automated systems, provided the source is attributed and the meaning is not altered.
Intellectual property
The PEPLUX name, brand, site design, and written content belong to us or are licensed to us, and are protected by copyright and trademark law. You may not copy the site wholesale or use our brand in a way that suggests endorsement.
Information you submit remains yours. You grant us the license necessary to use it to provide the service: routing it to your provider, transmitting a prescription, arranging delivery, and keeping the records the law requires.
Third-party content and links
We link to FDA documents and other primary sources so you can check our work. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content or availability. A link is not an endorsement.
Disclaimer of warranties
The website and platform are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure against every threat.
No clinical outcome is promised or warranted, by us or by any provider. Individual responses differ, and for many of the products listed on PEPLUX the evidence in people is limited or absent. Each product page states that product’s FDA status rather than leaving it to a footnote here.
Nothing in these terms limits or excludes any liability that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, PEPLUX and its officers, employees, and contractors are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, or loss of goodwill, arising out of your use of the platform.
Our aggregate liability arising out of or relating to this agreement is limited to the amount you paid PEPLUX in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim.
This limitation applies to the platform and our administrative services. It does not limit the professional liability of a treating provider or a dispensing pharmacy for their own acts and omissions, which is a matter between you and them.
Some states do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or the limitation of certain damages. Where that is the case, these limitations apply only to the extent the law permits.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify PEPLUX against claims, losses, and reasonable costs arising from your breach of these terms, your misuse of the platform, or your giving false information in order to obtain a prescription.
Disputes and governing law
Before starting any formal proceeding, please contact us. Most disputes come from something we can fix, and we would rather fix it.
The governing law, venue, and any dispute resolution process for this agreement will be recorded here once the operating entity and its jurisdiction are established.
This section requires review and approval by qualified counsel. An arbitration provision, class action waiver, or limitation period has significant consequences for your rights and is treated differently from state to state. Nothing will be added here that counsel has not reviewed.
Changes and termination
We may update these terms. When we do, we will change the “last updated” date and, for material changes, notify account holders directly and give reasonable notice before the change takes effect. Continuing to use the service after that point means you accept the revised terms. A change never alters the terms of an order you have already placed.
You may stop using the service and close your account at any time. Sections that by their nature should survive termination, including payment obligations already incurred, intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and indemnification, survive it.
If any provision of these terms is held unenforceable, the rest remains in force.

Please do not send health information by ordinary email. Once the intake is live, patients will be given a secure way to reach their care team, and that is the right channel for anything clinical.
